Bossi, Scenes from the life of St. Francis, op.140

Post by ctesibius »

Hi,
would be nice to have uploaded Bossi's Scenes from the life of St. Francis, op.140 (aka 3 Momenti Francescani, op.140) for organ, published by John Church in 1923. The score is not PD in the States but is in Europe and Canada.

There are copies in 5 libraries in the States. Is anyone willing to scan it?

Louisiana State University
LSU Libraries
Baton Rouge, LA 70803 United States

Oberlin College Library

SBTS Library
James P. Boyce Centennial Library

These would be an interesting addition to IMSLP. I requested them years ago through an interlibrary loan which came back unfilled and I never persued them further. The three pieces were issued separately--if you look in Worldcat under the individual titles you'll find other libraries with the individual numbers. It appears that NYP has all three. My experience with multi-volume entries in Worldcat has proven it best to check with the individual libraries to make sure they actually hold the complete set.

Fervor = Fervore, op. 140, no. 1
Colloquy with the swallows = Colloquio con le rondini, op. 140, no. 2
Beatitude= Beatitudine, op. 140, no. 3
