Hello:
I noticed that there are recordings of (Sir) James Galway performing in the Concertsal of Danish Radio in the Pandora Archive, here:
www.ibiblio.org/pandora/vorbis/Galway/
Would it be possible to upload these to IMSLP? If so, it would be a valuable addition, although the audio is low quality.
Thanks!

Wouldn't Galway (and accompanists/orchestras) have to give permission for the free distribution?

That would depend on the contact signed when recording.
Re: Galway recordings on Pandora Records/Archive
That's what I thought, but in that case, these are recordings made by Pandora Records itself?
Re: Galway recordings on Pandora Records/Archive
Well, even Wikipedia uses them ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bern ... llegro.ogg citing the EFF OAL/Pandora Records so I guess they're ok to upload on IMSLP as well.

Re: Galway recordings on Pandora Records/Archive
I expect it can be uploaded since Al Goldstein/Pandora was the copyright owner of the sound recording and he's released it under CC. Romberg is no problem. Stay way from anything like Stravinsky as the CC would not apply to the underlying work.

Ok, the files have been uploaded.

Unfortunately, we do not have a score for that piece, and I cannot find one online.

That's because, from what I can tell, it was published for the first time (with editor) in 2006.
