It looks like the German edition labels it as opus 1 ("Ersten Werkes") and the French as opus 2 ("Oeuv. 2"), but the music is the same.

Fixed. The "Variations pour Guitare et Violoncelle ou Flûte, Op.2" link now redirects to the "Variations in C major, Op.1" page.

Weber, Gottfried opus 1 and 2 are the same piece
