John Knowles Paine, the two symphonies

Post by Graham1973 »

Currently missing from the site are the two Symphonies written by John Knowles Paine, which are important parts of musical history in America as their success inspired George Chadwick.

The two symphonies were:

Symphony Nº. 1 in C-Minor, Op. 23
Symphony Nº. 2 in A-Major "In Spring", Op. 34

The second was apparently published in Boston in 1880.
